David Bacon MRICS - Founding Director at Costcap
David Bacon is a cornerstone of Costcap with over 20 years in construction, managing projects from £150k to £310m. His expertise spans across high-spec residential and commercial sectors, working with top-tier clients like British Land, N M Rothschild & Sons, Blackstone Property Group, Landsec, Cauldwell, and Stanhope PLC. David's versatility shines in Construction Management, Design and Build, and JCT contracts.
David's academic achievements are equally impressive. He graduated with Upper Second-Class Honours in Quantity Surveying from the University of Westminster. Further solidifying his professional standing, David has been a proud member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since 2009.
John Dineen MCIOB, Founding Director at Costcap
John Dineen is a master of the numbers and the nuances in construction, bringing a wealth of experience to Costcap as a Founding Director. Since stepping into the construction industry in 2003 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, John has carved out a distinguished career. Before founding Costcap, he worked as the Managing Surveyor for Masterson Holdings, where he led a Commercial Team for a company boasting a £150m turnover.
John is comfortable in both principal and subcontractor capacities, he's a "subbie at heart" with a broad and well-rounded experience that spans commercial and construction management. His skills in Construction Tendering, Contractual Development and Negotiation, Value Engineering, and Cost/Commercial Management have been pivotal in delivering projects from inception to completion.
